The History of Asian Youth Culture

True Form's most recent project was funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. It explored the history of South Asian Youth Culture by collecting stories from the 1960s to the 2000s. Looking at, but not specific to, arts and culture, politics, community archives, diversity, and divergence.

We worked with our partners Birmingham City University, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, and The Library of Birmingham.

The project created a number of outcomes including archives, exhibitions, films & oral histories.
